I enjoy creating different characters, even though I usually stick to creating original characters for my own stories. But once in a while, I'll create fan characters for my favorite fandoms and whatnot.

Name: Marimar 'Queen'

Starting Class: Dancer

Background: Marimar hailed from the 'pitifully small' (as Virion had stated) country of Valm. She wanted to travel to other places and spread happiness through her dances (which were taught by her two aunts). Unfortunately, her plans had changed when Walhart conquered Valm. She managed to escape her country only to be caught by Excellus, who saw that she could benefit the army and had tried to convince her to join by threatening her aunts. Knowing that she would be killed if she tried to fight back and having witnessed what Walhart could do, she joined.

Two years later, Walhart decided to invade Ylisse. Eventually, he fought against the Shepherds (Chapter 19: The Conqueror). During the battle, Marimar decided to sneak away while everything was chaotic and had accidentally ran into the leader of the opposing forces, Chrom. Chrom convinced her to fight with them, promising that they would end Walhart's rule. And that was how Marimar became a Shepherd.

Personality: Years of providing reluctant service in Walhart's army had made her feel trapped and scared (especially for her aunts' safety), and seeing plenty of his conquers didn't help. But despite all of this, she didn't want to breakdown in front of others so she kept on giving her hollow smiles and chuckles, continuing this behavior even when she joined the Shepherds. She finally broke down in front of Olivia, whom she admires for her dancing skills, who wasn't fooled by her act and told her that crying meant that she'd been strong for too long. Marimar can also be quite vengeful, although her revenge is limited to committing severe pranks as she doesn't want to accidentally kill or injure someone. The most easily excited. Her birthday is on September 1st (the original release of Thracia 776 through 'Nintendo Power' service).
